Using Filter for the first time

What should I expect when I first use a filter on the Smart Drinking Fountain?

When using the filter for the first time, there will be some raw material residue on the packaging. So you need to soak the filter in water for ten minutes before putting it into the water dispenser to use! It's normal to see small amount of black powder in the water due to the activated carbon residue. TIt's normal and you shouldn't worry about that!
