This is the infrared detection function in the litter. Human eyes and pet eyes can not see that. We can only see the flashing in the camera view. This feature is designed to ensure that the pet can be monitored even when the unit is switched off and is resting properly in the litter. If you we are bing bothered by this,you can unplug the power cord.
