Why does the filter have strong smell?

The filter has pure plant extract which is non-toxic and harmless. Because the filter will continue to volatilize naturally, there will be some volatiles accumulated in vacuum packaging. Once the package is opened, the smell can be strong. It is recommended to put it in the living room and other relatively empty places for a period of time, and then install the filter back to Smart Odor Eliminator after the smell becomes weak.
