I just got my cat a feeder and cannot seem to be able to create a feeding plan. It says that the feeding plan has been disabled and everytime I go to add one, it does not add.

In my application, i think, issuee fixed by itself. I updated, and went to sleep — in the morning all was good.

I was experiencing the same issue but was able to fix it. If you go to settings for your feeder (gear icon in the upper-right) then scroll all the way to the bottom, there's a firmware update option. Make sure that is up-to-date. Updating to the latest fixed this for me.
