I’m encountering a persistent issue with my Petkit Fresh Element Gemini feeder and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar — or found a solution.
The problem:
For about a week, I’ve been getting this message during scheduled feedings:
Feeding history unknown. The device was not connected to the internet. Unable to retrieve or access feeding history.
This message appears only at scheduled feeding times set via the app. However, if I manually trigger a feeding — either via the app or by pressing one of the physical buttons on the feeder — the food dispenses without any issue.
What I’ve checked so far:
The feeder is shown as online and connected to the internet in the app.
The firmware is updated to the latest version.
I’ve tried removing and re-adding the device to the app. The process completes successfully, but the issue still occurs.
Is anyone else dealing with this? Any suggestions or fixes?

Yes, I actually have an update regarding the issue.
After trying various troubleshooting steps without success, I contacted Petkit support directly. They acknowledged the problem and eventually offered a replacement. They sent me a newer model of the feeder, the one equipped with a built-in camera (Fresh Element Infinity, if I’m not mistaken).
Since switching to the new model, I haven’t experienced the same issue — scheduled feedings work perfectly and the history logs are accurate. So it seems the problem might be specific to the Gemini model or to certain batches.
